Working of The Grid Connected System Proposed:
During
the day time when the grid is available the solar PV modules will produce
electrical energy which will be created in the form of Direct Current (D.C.)
This electricity will flow from the array via a D.C. cable through a D.C.
isolator and is collected at the inverter.
The
inverter will convert the D.C. electricity to Alternating Current (A.C.) so
that it can be used within the building. The now A.C. electricity is passed to
the building’s electricity system via an A.C. isolator and generation meter.
The electricity generated by the PV system works hand in hand with the existing
electrical supply to power appliances and lighting. During the day sufficient
electricity can be generated by the system for the load. If not, this will be
supplemented by the normal electricity supply from the grid.
In the proposed solution
power to the local load, up to the full instantaneous available capacity of the
solar array and limited to the maximum capacity of the inverter, is supplied
from the inverter with the balance of the energy coming from the grid/DG.
Advantages of Solar on Grid system :-
1. Subsidy from government only of resedential house.
2. Saving In property tax.
3. Low maintenance.
4. Bank loan Available.
5. 25 years plant life.
6. Payback 4-5 years.
6. Type of load does not matter for on grid system.
Disadvantage of Solar on Grid system :-
1. On grid system will not work when there will be no grid.
